QUESTION: Dear Jack, I was wondering how high is a regulation 6th grade basketball hoop. Thank you for answering. AZ on 1/13/06 JACK SEZ: I would highly recommend that 6th graders shoot at the regulation 10 foot high goal. They are physically ready to do this with this caution. Youngsters like to bomb away from long distance. This can result in really poor shooting form. Encourage them to use good form and ignore that three point line. North
