Standard NAYSI Training Program Format:

A standard and productive NAYSI training program like the prior example is six hours in duration. It can be held on a Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or two week nights from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m. or in another desirable time frame. It depends, in part, on what will produce the best turnout, work best for your group and available facilities. Other time units can be agreed upon.

The meeting facility should include a classroom or auditorium plus gymnasium or field. A gymnasium is needed in case of rain. A whiteboard, chalkboard or writing easel is needed. Coaches will get out on the field and practice new skills so a supply of balls and other equipment is needed. If a large group will attend, a public address system is required.

A nominal registration fee should be charged to cover the cost of one copy of BEYOND X’s and O’s and handouts. The host provides the facility and refreshments. If it is requested that specific topics be addressed, we must know in advance so that it can be worked into the program. Clinics are conducted in an open and sharing atmosphere so participants can ask questions anytime as we go along.
